A battle rages in the heart of men. Either destroy their planet or sacrifice to save it. But another war rages. They fight one another not knowing what is to come, for the Elder race will return.  The Aldalie, or Elves, will come to fight not for us but for Gaia, for the planet that man is destroying.  Also, the Oronlie, or Dwarves, will halt their endless mining to aid their brothers.  No, we are not their brothers.  They will fight for the wilderness, for their mines, for the very mountains themselves.  We will fall if we do not sacrifice for Gaia.  The Elder races are angry, they will not show mercy, for we have shown none.  The day is coming, it's very close.  They have already made themselves clear.  Miners have perished in mines, people have disappeared in the forests, never to be seen again.  They are not taking prisoners, no, that would be showing mercy. It is up to us to decide if we die or not.  Make your choice.

This sounds like a strange cross between Lord of the Rings and the Elder Scrolls series...

Yeah it does^

As for the actual piece. It's pretty cool, It got better towards the end.

I think if you give it some extra time you can fix some things. Still really cool though. (I do take it, You wrote it?)
