Debating Online was founded on April 11th 2006. Today, on April 11th 2007, we celebrate our first year online! I take this opportunity to thank all our regular contributors and hope for another fine and successful year.  Smiley

The CG forums were opened on June 13th 2004 and closed between July 10th and July 15th 2005. I believe during that time we had about 1700 members and 23-25,000 posts, as well as about 1 million visitors per month. However, the original CG opened around 2001 sometime and continued right through to early 2006.
